Strada Homes are pleased to announce that it has secured full planning approval for its development project in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The project will see the conversion of a former Victorian solicitors chambers into 9 residential one bedroom apartments in the heart of the town centre.  The site is minutes from all central amenities and is a short walk to Wellingborough train station which has regular mainline trains into London St.Pancras International.

The process took almost 12 months and involved a permitted development application for conversion of the existing building followed by a full planning application for a rear extension to the existing building.  Strada worked in collaboration with the local Conservation Officer to preserve the character of the building with the new additions matching reclaimed brick and continuing stone-clad sash windows throughout the new structure.

Construction is due to start in Q4 2018 with the units available for reservation in the summer.
